Installation and specifications

Stairs By Finesse has been granted an engineering certification for the installation of the floating stairs. Using certified fittings we can directly connect the floating stairs to surfaces including brick and concrete.

The floating staircases are unique in their design, they do not require any steel to be chased into the wall cavity. This has led to a significant saving in costs for our customers.

The stainless steel wire balustrade is connected to the concrete slab above. A single stainless steel wire/rod is attached at the balustrade height to prevent the wires from being pulled apart.

If there is no concrete slab above, the stair support beam is installed into the roof space and the wire balustrade continues all the way up to the second level. Steel supports can also be used.
